1. About these terms
These terms apply to the WPK Energy website and to enquiries, screening consultations, energy assessments, load-profile reports, site inspections and quotations initiated through it. WPK Investments (Pty) Ltd trades as WPK Energy, registration 2015/357311/07, from 458 Dragme Avenue, Wilgeheuwel, Roodepoort, Johannesburg.
2. Enquiries and information supplied
By submitting an enquiry or booking, you agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge. WPK may rely on property, electricity-use, site and project information when preparing an estimate, assessment or recommendation.
3. Screening and paid assessments
An initial screening helps determine the right next step. Where a paid energy study, load-profile report, diagnostic review or site assessment is required, the scope and fee will be disclosed and must be approved before the work begins. Payment for an assessment does not accept an installation quotation.
4. Estimates and quotations
Website calculators, savings figures and early estimates are indicative only. Final quotations depend on available information, agreed scope and verified site conditions, remain valid for the period stated in the quotation, and may be revised if the scope, requirements, equipment or site conditions materially change. Any assessment-fee credit applies only where confirmed by WPK in writing.
5. Installation and approvals
Installation proceeds only after written acceptance of the final quotation and applicable terms. Work may be subject to site verification, equipment availability, technical design, municipal/distributor requirements and other approvals. The project may include testing, commissioning, a Certificate of Compliance, customer handover, warranties and SSEG/regulatory documentation where applicable.
6. Cancellation and rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule an appointment. If preparatory work has been completed, time reserved or third-party costs incurred, WPK may charge a reasonable and proportionate amount. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African consumer law.
7. Warranties and support
Applicable equipment, manufacturer and workmanship warranties are set out in the quotation, installation agreement or handover documents. WPK remains available for support, maintenance and warranty assistance. Manufacturer or third-party lead times may be outside WPK's direct control.
8. Website information, liability and law
Solar production, savings, backup duration and system performance vary according to usage, tariffs, weather, equipment, design and site conditions; website information is not a guaranteed performance commitment unless confirmed in writing. To the extent permitted by law, WPK is not responsible for delays or loss caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control. These terms are governed by South African law.
9. Privacy, intellectual property and contact
