1. Who we are
WPK Investments (Pty) Ltd trading as WPK Energy ("WPK", "we", "us") processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

2. Information we collect
We may collect contact details, property or site information, electricity usage and utility bills, project and quotation information, payment or contract records, site photographs and assessment data, installation and equipment records, COC/SSEG or municipal records, warranty and support information, and website/device/cookie information where applicable.
3. Why we use it
We use personal information to respond to enquiries; assess energy needs; prepare quotations; design, install and support energy systems; manage contracts, payments and warranties; complete municipal, Eskom, SSEG or regulatory processes where applicable; comply with legal, safety and record-keeping duties; and improve our services and website.
4. Sharing, security and retention
Where necessary, information may be shared with authorised WPK staff and contractors, engineers, installers, equipment or warranty providers, technology providers, professional advisers, municipalities, Eskom, NERSA or other competent authorities. We do not sell personal information. WPK applies reasonable safeguards and retains records only as long as reasonably required or required by law, compliance or warranty obligations. Core technical project records may be retained for at least five years or the applicable warranty period, whichever is longer.
5. Marketing and cookies
We may send marketing communications where permitted by law. You may opt out at any time. Website cookies and similar technologies are handled in accordance with our Cookie Notice, and non-essential cookies should follow your consent choices.
6. Your rights
Subject to POPIA, you may request access to your personal information, ask for correction or deletion where permitted, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing, and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
7. Changes and contact
